Bankruptcy filing instructions depend on the court. Each court has it own list of demands for local forms.

Today the filing fee is $299 for Chapter 7 unless you asked for a fee waiver and it is approved OR you asked for a payment plan.

Today the filing fee is $274 for Chapter 13 payable in cash (exact change – they do not process change) or money order to the United States Bankruptcy Court

TIPS

• REMEMBER to take the second REQUIRED/MANDATORY class & FILE it.
• BE ON TIME FOR HEARINGS – THIS IS FEDERAL COURT.
• Take your endorsed documents with your to court in case they reference your materials.
• Take IDENTIFICATION and SOCIAL SECURITY CARD to hearing!!! Mandatory

If you mail your package, double check for signatures and provide a self addressed stamped envelope back to you.
