Wyoming Bankruptcy Exemptions

Homestead

1-20-101 & 1-20-104 - Real property up to $10,000; house trailer up to $6,000. Tenancies by the entirety are exempt without limit as to debts of one spouse [In re Anselmi, 52 B.R. 479 (D. Wyo. 1985)]. Spouse or child of deceased owner may claim.

Personal Property

1-20-105 - Clothing and wedding rings up to $1,000 total.

1-20-106 - Household articles, furniture, bedding and food up to $2,000 per person in the home; school books, pictures, and bible; motor vehicle up to $2,400; and burial plot.

1-20-111 - Medical savings account contributions.

26-32-102 - Pre-paid funeral contracts.

Wages

1-15-511 - The greater of the following: 30 times the federal minimum hourly wage or minimum of 75% of disposable weekly earnings.
